friggin "A" Rob, you da man. I still have mine sittin in my garage, does that mean I can send it off to you for a replacement?? And just to add, this is my second one in about 15K miles. The first one lasted about 4 months, but I know it was my fault due to overtightening. The next time I used a flat washer with a lock washer and worked out a whole lot better...

Next time you have a clear cam gear cover, just seat the bolts with "screwdriver level" torque. If you want more peace of mind, a bit of loctite will do the trick. If you want a replacement, please send me your old one first: Zaklee, 3279 Sunshine Canyon, Boulder, CO 80302. Thanks!

WOW talk about bring this thing up from the dead.

It's cool you would fix these for free.

I just wish I could get my money back for the shipping since i paid for it but picked it up from you in person. It was only 9 bucks, but its the principle.

^ it is.. I read a couple articles concerning the cracks etc on this and a couple other sites like MLR and I wanted confirmation from Zaklee concerning if they knew about it or not. Real helpful response... and great to know he would honor a replacement...

Maybe it's a good thing I emailed to him today...

Well hopefully I will have a good experience with it.

Sorry that I don't search for "Zaklee" and "problems" or "Cracking" very often.

I guess that I should have. It's never too late for customer service!

Mishi - I did not know about the thread on MLR - I have been in contact with those guys, thanks!

Josh - didn't we work this out when you were here? I thought we did for some reason. Let me know: rcsteinway@earthlink.net, thanks!

Hi, Boost -

So, let's see, what exactly did you do to it? Lexan doesn't fog unless it is in the presence of gasoling or volatile solvents of the ketone family, like acetone or MEK. Let me know: rcsteinway@earthlink.net. Thanks!

Well I gotta say thank you man. If I hadn't emailed you today asking about it, we'd never have known about the replacement solution.. and thanks to that I decided to buy one. You're one of the few people I'll close my eyes and buy from because you're reasonable and willing to assist.

look forward to seeing it... don't care if it's my stock cams and belt...
