5 Speed Manual and 6 Speed Manual,which one is better for running?

6 speed is nice for roadcourses but the 5 is better for 1/4mile.

Most have stated that the five speed can handle more power. Either way if you don't beat the crap out of your car than 5spd or 6spd would be fine for everyday driving and auto x.
