any one using these?

Is anybody on here using aftermarket exhaust manifold studs? If so which ones are you guys using and how are they holding up with rusting or turning that ugly brown color? Im tired of the ugly looking rusty factory ones and want to try some stainless aftermarket ones but i have heard of aftermarket studs backing out and just would like to see if anybody can give me some first hand input. TIA

I posted a link a while back on another thread about stainless manifold studs and the stainless hardware to hold the ARC manifold heat shield on. The problem with stainless is although it resists corrosion 100X better, it is actually a little weaker then the factory studs which are 10.9 grade steel. However if put in correctly they shouldn't back out. I am still rockin the factory studs with an after market manifold, no problems thus far. I'll see if I can find that link for you. Go to the link below and go back to the metric page and see if the studs that you are talking about are there.

yeah stick with OEM. I put back my OEM exhaust manifold after the porting and haven't had any leaks. I'd only replace them if they got damaged.
