Hey guys. Last night I put in my shep tranny and everythihng went smoothly...for some reason My CEL constantly flashes but doesnt have any stored codes. I do Have that knock light hack but the only thing that was unplugged was the battery and the speed sensors and stuff off the tranny. Anybody else run into this?

Save your ROM and then remove the knock light flash "hack" as you call it. If it goes away then you know your problem is either bad settings, phantom knock or real knock. Log a couple of idle and cruise pulls when it is doing it to see if you are logging any knock. What clutch are you using? I have heard some people say there twin disc was causing knock but I am not sure if I buy that. Just my .02

I have the cusco twin... but it was in before i swapped out for this tranny

 

Try to turn on the switch and hold the throttle 100% for about 10 seconds and see if it stops. Valet mode could be activated.

 

your tactrix cable isn't plugged in is it?
