The AMS tune will be maintained it is one of the best tunes I have seen in my life, never seen anything like it!!

I will merely trim the fuel and monitor knock, there isn't much else to do.

What a quality shop AMS is!

I am anxious to see the numbers as well.
Just tell your tuner not to be too aggressive with your 2 steps, so you won't blow this turbo up.

I can't wait to see how your car performs with that beautiful 850R at the track!

are we talking about 2-step or Anti-lag?...never heard of the 2-step damaging a turbo.

Stock ecu is less agressive than what AEM can do.

I've datalogged as much as 27psi at 6000rpm with aem. (.82 a/r standard 35r). And I wasn't even trying to get that much.

There is a difference between 2step and ant-ilag. For the purpose of this topic, I'm just refferring to the settings on the launch for my buddy Sharkbite.

Look at those turbine fins. OUCH. Explosions in the exhaust are not always your friend.

I haven't tried for more than 15-16psi for what it's worth, that's just where I set it with the stock ecu tuning...it's already blowing the tires off enough as it is

Chris at AMS set my 2 step (AEM) to build only 15 or 16 psi.
I can see though how turbine wheels would break from so much shock if your cranking 27psi out, there must be some serious fuel exploding in the manifold at that point.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. My car rolls out of the hole and incinerates the tires about 80ft out. This is only at 26-28 psi on advans. Best 60ft was a 1.72 with the boost controller off (20psi) . (best 1.83 60ft with 26-28 psi).

I'm rooting for Sharkbite to touch the 140's in the 1/4 with his new set-up. 131mph was a bit off for his powerlevel (700hp 2.3 stroker @44psi). All he has to do is get the bugs out and drive it like he stole it!!

So true, so true. I'm glad Sharkbite posted a picture of his turbine.

Steve has been talking about going to a 2.0 to help out with him not hitting the rev limiter in 4th as he crosses the beams.
