Clutch pedal vibrates? TO?

Ok guys here is the deal. I had an act clutch in the car when i got it and it had this issue where the clutch pedal would vibrate :S Also while cruising at say 40mph and i release the gas i could hear this noise once i press the gas it goes away. I did a clutch change two days ago but the kit did not come with a TO bearing so i had to resuse the old BS ACT TO bearing. Anyone with similar problems? any help would be appreciated ive searched but nothing seems to add up.

Sounds like you TO bearing either it's going out or it's not seated right and not made for that clutch.. I learned never to use old TO bearings always change them.

throw out bearing cant cause pedal to vibrate. when the pressure plate fingers are crooked that causes the TOB to be pulse in and out when the PP is spinning. your problem is in the clutch itself. most likely a disc that isnt flat.

As stated earlier it is a brand new hks twin disk so I doubt its the clutch because the act I had in there did the samething. The only connection there is between these two clutches are its the same exact TO bearing which was only used because the hks did not come with a TO. Anyone with some experience as far as this is concered? The pedal vibrates only when I apply the throttle and can only be felt if the foot is placed lightly over the clutch peddle.

To the OP:
Do you remember if it was the TOB or not?
I have an ACT HDSS in my Evo 8, and English recently pulled my Trans. The Clutch is about 14-16 months old so idk what the condition of the PP or TOB was.
When I apply just a small amount of pressure to the pedal I feel a significant amount of vibration compared to when I first got it back.
I had a Exedy Twin HD b4 the ACT but after I bought it, the TOB went through the fingers and my clutch pedal went to the floor. I was so pissed off. $1500 clutch down the drain. Cost about $900 to rebuild sobi bought the ACT to get by.
Ever since I bought my Evo in 2017, I've had nothing but Drivetrain issues. I bought it with a un-rebuildable Trans, so English sold me one they rebuilt a few months prior, and that one chipped the gear 23k miles later for no reason, and now they told me that this trans is "un-rebuildable" as well...FML how can that even be possible!
Until I get funds together to get a new/different Trans, they replaced 1st & the input shaft with used parts... That was 3 weeks ago, now this crap with the Pedal Vibration is happening.
When will the Nightmare End! I need to start a Go-Fund Me or something to get out of this deep hole.

This thread is 12yrs old and OP has not logged on for 8yrs.

If ER worked on the car that recently and it's having issues, take it in to them.

I probably will take it back to English, it's been about 4± weeks since I picked it up, but I'm just tired of dealing with them. They are the only shop to touch my Trans in the last 7+ years and I've had nothing but Drivetrain issues. At least every 9 months.
