GSC S2 idle
i read the ams thread a long time ago, they didn't test the 272's only the S2's iirc.
Anyway, seems as though retarding the intake cam 4 degrees and the exhaust cam 1 degree seems to be the consensus choice for best idle and all around power from what i've read. Thoughts?

16-17 AFR with big cams is not acceptable for a smooth idle. Fuel in the high 13's low 14's smooths out the idle on big cams but is bad for emissions testing if required. The other tricks are timing and actual ISCV changes as well some hardware tuning.
thought i'd come back and tell you the resolution to the idle.
turns out, my mechanic forgot to plug in the hose to the intake for the pcv vent when he installed the cams and turbo. Totally explains why John had issues getting my idle afr correct. Sometimes its the simplest stuff that gets ya. Car runs much better now, idles very very well - like stock with a hiccup periodically. Post another vid tomorrow demonstrating the difference.
