rough idle. brain fried

so i've been over as many threads as i can find and can't find a solution.

car starts up fine in open loop but then idles rough, like it's missing.
once warmed, shut off, and restarted, it idles super lean to the point of stalling sometimes. does this for 10-20sec before going back to "normal" which still idles rough.
wideband shows normal A/F during idle.
also runs a bit rough up to about 2k RPM then is fine.
car is not hunting for idle.
fuel pressure seems to be fine as it boosts just fine.
assuming injectors are functioning as none of the plugs show a lean condition

new primary O2
new plugs
IACV has been checked and swapped.
plugs have good color
compression is even across the board
no boost leaks up to 20psi, so assuming no vacuum leaks. sprayed carb cleaner everywhere i could to confirm.
will be double checking timing tonight.

other than this lean condition on startup, when warm and the rough idle, the car performs pretty much perfect.

has anyone had this issue and could fire off advice on the top of your head?

sorry for ANOTHER "rough idle" thread LOL. i have a feeling it's something simple and my brain is just tired.
