Timing Belt?

Hey guys i got an 2003 Evo 8 with 65k miles.. Timing Belt has never been changed. When does it need to be done? what do you think the price will be for the timing belt and water pump with labor?

60k is recommend for the replacement of both....pricing will vary from vendor to vendor....

It's time for a timing belt man. I'd hop to it asap.
Not sure on the labor though. You can order the kit online for a reasonable price though.

I have 63k on my 8 and I just had it done and if I wouldve waited, it def wouldn't have lasted another 500miles that's for sure. I'd get on that pronto!

350-375 for Timing Service Parts

375-1200 for Labor depending on a private or dealer.

take the upper timing cover off and inspect the belt for wear. Like said 60k is recomended maintance.
