Autometer Wideband

UPDATE: POST IN THIS OTHER THREAD INSTEAD

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=358243

I was going to buy this...

http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugede...earch&gid=3603

It matches my other gauges (I have all sport comp gauges)

Anybody know if this is a good wideband?

Description looks good. You should find out if it's supported by major logging programs. Like Evoscan and Mitsulogger. Also if it has a simulated narrowband output.

Otherwise as just a WB, it should probably work just fine.

Have her installed now, for other members with widebands... I have a question.

How much is it normal for the AFR to vary in just normal (closed loop) daily driving?

Stoich 14.7 man idle and cruise. It'll jump around a little though.

Get that analog output wire pinned into your ECU so that you can log it with your pulls

Mine goes from 14.0 to high 15.7 when I am at near constant speed.

When I accelerate somewhat gradually (not mashing the gas hard) , it may get as low as mid 12's

Like I said man no worries. Stand on that **** from 3k in 3rd and then you'll see it a steady AFR. Plus you'll know if you tune has any room for inprovement

I tried that on the way home. I am getting a solid "10" and thats the lowest she goes. I think something is wrong, it's supposed to be 11.5 when it was tuned by chris at AMS

if you have a tactrix cable and an evoscan or mitsulogger you could log some runs to see exactly what is going on. i remember seeing a thread here on how to log the aem wideband.

why would I need to log it if i can look with my eyeballs and see "10.0"?

I bought a wideband so that, for now atleast I could see if there was any problem in my AFR.
