Fuel Pump Question
well i had a 255 in there for about 3 months and i just replaced it 2 days ago to make sure that wasnt it and the problem still remains. its having a hard start problem sometimes aftter it sits.
It will prime a few times, and then once it has full fuel pressure, it will stop making that priming noise. If it doesn't do it the first time you go to the car, then something is most likely wrong. Does the car start afterwards, or just sits there and cranks?

it should not take you 4 to 5 seconds of cranking before it fires up not on a stock ecu anyways, check your oring in the sending unit maybe you didint install the fuel pump correctly and your fuel pressure is not up to specs when being primed. Does it run normal when the car idles and you give it gas??? or is it chocking??

[QUOTE=diablo29d;5917218]My car seems fine once it starts up, I haven't noticed anything else acting different. Checking the Oring is probably good advice, I had to replace it when I installed the pump because it was torn up. I'll do that and make sure it's sealing appropriately.[/QUOTE
I have had lot of customers that had problems with those little orings weather it was damaged during installation or just from some sort of defect
