Solution for Peakboost FTW manifold and radiator hose

I'm planning my first HPDE at Road Atlanta with the Peakboost FTW GT3076R. My major concern is how close the upper radiator hose is to the manifold. Anybody track their Peakboost FTW kit? Any issues with melting the radiator hose? Any good solutions?

The hard pipe kits I've seen won't fit with the Peakboost FTW. What might work is a 90 deg silicon hose right off the radiator into a custom hard pipe. Any other suggestions?

I don't think so. The straight section off the radiator looks too long.

The only other option I've seen so far is the CBRD radiator, but that's $500.

Swap in a CBRD radiator, the hose goes straight to the radiator, no bends!

If you have the cash to do this, it would probably be the best

The previous owner tracked the car quite a bit and told me the stock radiator was more than sufficient to handle the heat of track days, even here in the southeast. I would rather not spend the extra money for a radiator if I don't need.

Thanks for all the advice. I may end up buying the CBRD if I don't find a less expensive solution that works.

I wonder if you keep the insulation you have but maybe get some of that gold foil from cbrd and make it your outer most layer.

I sent Ken a email a couple weeks ago, and PM'd him a link to this thread. Hopefully he'll have some ideas.

Good idea on the gold foil. A friend and I had discussed it also for the valve cover since it is so close to the manifold. I live in Nascar country, so there are a few race shops nearby that probably carry the foil.
