Maximizing the IX Turbo Setup
Rod bolts are more of a requirement than headstuds.
I have run 30+psi for the last 31k miles on my stock headgasket and head bolts. Most of this has been on racegas/pumpgas mix, AVgas 100/130 (way back in the day), straight pumpgas, or E30.
I have ran up to 36 counts of knock on various occasions when boost controllers failed or wastegate lines fell off and the boost spiked over 33psi.
Still no headgasket or headbolt problems.

Haha, I hear that. I actually dug into some research on it and can't find much info because it's so old and outdated. Oh well, I'll get me different one if this one doesn't work out
Well a 400whp EVO8 should be trapping 120mph. I don't see many of those popping in here.
Either way .... I wish you luck with the 9 turbo but I don't think it will be enough for you. You might as well keep the stock 8 turbo .... get good cams and meth then wait to upgrade to a green.
