to me it seemed like you wanted more of a street/autox build than a drag build. A built 2.0 and 35r will make great power up top but you wont have the torque and turbo response needed for that application. It ultimately comes down to what comprimises you are willing to take.

If you gave them a bone stock car, which you pretty much have as most of that stuff will be switched out, you will be out the door for about $23,000.

Apache +1

Autox and hillclimb are not the best applications for a built 2.0 35r lol now a 2.3 3076hta....might be a little better. If you're truly looking for the do-all evo, go Green!

I'm not really looking for a drag car, I like curves (not a euphemism) and going fast for more than a few seconds at a time. Autox is the most likely because hillclimb will more likely just scratch my paint and get me laughed at when I start crying about it.

SloRice is right, you WILL NOT beat a Buschur Build if you want 500+ on 93 oct! I love my car and it WILL still handle! I love ripping it through curves still, but the adrenaline rust you get with how hard these cars launch when drag racing is unreal! And I havent even experienced race gas yet!

There a way to get that much hp without a standalone such as AEM EMS?

So it sounds like with the current goals I've set for myself that this isn't going to be one of those builds where I can accumulate part after part until the puzzle is complete. I'd be much better off just saving dollar after dollar until I can just send off the car as a lump sum project.

How open do my options become If I say I just want to accomplish 600 whp with c16? Would BR still be my sole option, or does it open up a bit?

You can go other routes/brands but I think Buschur has the recipe down pat...quite a few been cranked out lately making 500-600awhp with the HTA 35R.

I tune quite a few cars and I consistently get better results when people get his parts because they work very well together. ETS and AMS makes some nice kits too.

Is this set up going to be to much for autox or hill climb? It sound like a bit much for auto.
