Need recipes for 550awhp
I don't think you will be able to get a setup that will make 500+whp on pump gas that is still competative in autox. In reality, 500whp is to much for most autox courses anyways. I had a 30R on my STI making 400whp on pump gas and it was a freaking handful on the autox course.
If autox is your main avenue for speed, you need to decide which class you want to be in and then mod your car accordingly. Based on your current mod list, you are either in BSP or SM. Can't remember if BSP allows aftermarket cams. Once you touch the turbo, you go straight to SM.

If your looking to be competitive in AutoX a 500 WHP car is most likely not for you. If you just want to take the car for fun and don't really worry about the competition aspect of it I don't see why you would'nt enjoy a 500whp car, You know sideways aint the best way to go fast and your not going to have stock spool.
The reason you hear so many BR suggestions are the rate at which David Buschur pumps these car's out is pretty staggering. I'm confident that you could do a full AMS build with equal parts and end up with similar results depending on the tune. Bottom line is, Stick with a group of parts that are proven to work well together to achieve optimum results and get a proven tuner to finish the build right.

a 35R will be pretty dead under 4500rpm, not good for autox. Keep in mind we're talking about a 2.0l engine or 2.3 if you stroke it but either way this isn't the best platform for 500-550awhp and autox, they just don't make much torque without boost so it's going to be a pig coming out of corners.
Sounds like some good input and I appreciate it. I just have to decide if I want a fun sunday drive through town or a competative ride for a track or autox. Either way good input. Thanks
TO THE OP: the question is are u trying to hit that number on PUMP? is so i would say ur mods PLUS a built bottom and top with EITHER of these turbos...FP RED, HTA35R, 37R, HTA37R, or larger...
Im going to try the FP RED route but then again im not looking for no where near the whp that u are.

when I had the evogreen on the autox course for the first time I remember saying to myself after the first run "my god, this is way too fast" hahah I was all over the place at 400awhp on 93 octane running street tires. I haven't tried the 35R yet but I foresee blistering the tires if I ever get into boost with the wheels turned
fun - yes
fast - nah

Although the Red from Forced performance is definately promising it's not what I would consider looking at for the power goals the OP is after. It may very well be capable of them but the suggestions given so far are tried and true methods of what it takes to make 500 WHP on pump and well over on race fuel.
I see a problem actually. The car isn't being built for drag but primarily street/autox use.
The way I see it 500-600 whp on our dyno (since you are new here, our dyno reads low compared to others) is just not a good build to target with street/autox in mind.
Here's what I'd do if I were you and looking to do this build on a budget one piece at a time:
3" turbo back, no reducers, no cat, full 3" ID muffler
BR double pumper
Ported stock manifold
SS 02 housing
FP Red turbo
Lightweight battery kit
Upper and lower i/c pipes
BR Race FMIC
Upgraded BOV
BR Ported stock intake
BR 65 mm throttle body
Head studs
Valve springs/retainers
BF272 cams
AEM EMS
That's what I'd do. I was going to list all of our parts (BR) but only listed the ones I think are crucial as I see you have some already.
That build will also carry over to a GT35r build and 500+ whp later.
The build above is going to be very responsive, work kick *** on the street/autox course and run low 11's in the 1/4 mile on race gas with no problems.
It will not make 500 whp on our dyno though, not even on race gas.

+1 on what Buschur said. I would say for what you are doing ( street/autox) FP RED would be your best bet. The RED has done 500 whp. Good Luck with your build and welcome to the EVO World.
yea buschur seems to be putting out a $hitload of cars with these powerlevels, follow the mans recipe, but don't forget a tad bit of love
and a 30 case when its all said and done
AEM is very popular, but also pricey for average joe. I really enjoy the stock ecu 500whp monsters.
500whp on pump will need probably a 60lb/min turbo or larger.

If you are looking for a fun car around the curves we can surely help you out. Our experience with road racing the EVO is tried and true. Send me an email or PM and I can walk you through what it will take to build a reliable, powerful and well handling car tailored around the kind of racing you are interested in.
We have made 500 plus WHP on pump too but a tune like that would really not be the best for a road course / Autocross where your car will see some pretty serious conditions.
Just do a search on here for AMS cars that are at the track, we have our hands in quite a few
Just give us a call and we can get you on track

So i have looked around, and have a similar question, but different. I too eventually want to be in the 500 club. But can this be done on stock ecu? I live in ny and cant run the aem cause it wont pass nys inspection. I dont want to have to change parts just to pass inspections. So is it possible? David i guess you are the man to ask.....What do i have to do to get there on pump gas with stock ecu if its possible?
