Hey everyone, I'm trying to get some opinions on my upcoming build. My goal is 550 reliable whp ballpark. I'm a converted honda guy so you may have to talk slow. I'd like to get a few different options on this since I don't yet know what my final intentions are going to be for this car (hill climb, autox, street, etc.)

The current setup follows:

Walbro 255
HKS 272 cams
Fujitsubo 3" TBE w/Test
3.5" IC with hard pipes
AEM intake
OBX manifold
AEM UEGO
Tuned (obviously)

There is no budget for this project as I'm probably going to just buy stuff part by part and then save for the turbo upgrade. Thanks for any input.

Lots of nitrous should do the trick.

Do you want the 550 AWHP on straight 93 octane pumpgas, pump/Alky,or race gas? Do you want to keep standard bore/stroke or do you want a larger displacemnet stroker motor?

See a trend??

Every single one of these cars is capable of mid 10's at 135-137 MPH on pump gas and high 9's at 145-150 MPH on Q16. They are also RELIABLE street cars. I have no fear driving my car anywhere.

For the question the OP asked the answer above is it. You want a recipe of what it takes, Look at the car's above. You'll see the combination of parts it takes to get there.

Stock displacement if possible, but stoked out isn't out of the question. and lets go 550 on 93 oct. That should put me in the 600's on c16 with a good tune right? That's a good range to play in.

SloRice I can't help but think you're a little bias with BR parts. LOL.

Based on your last post, BR is your only option.

No one else is making 550whp+ on pump gas.

Wow, did you check out the 93 octane torque #'s on the car at the bottom of Slo's list? Duh, totally stupid!

All you need is the right dyno, AND a Buschur Racing build/tune.
