Another BR, 93 octane, 500+ whp build, no problem
Just finished a build for a friend/customer of ours, Eric N.
This car was tuned on 93 Shell only and made 551 whp and 403 ft lbs of torque at 31 psi.
Here's the dyno sheet:
Here are the stats on the build:
BR Stage 3, 2 liter
BR Stage 3 cylinder head
BF272 cams
BR Race FMIC
BR Coil on plug igntion
BR double pumper fuel system
1000 cc injectors
AEM EMS
BR upper and lower i/c pipes
BR lighweight battery kit
BR Ported stock intake manifold
BR 65mm throttle body
Exedy triple HD
Car has my old FR header on it, HTA35r with the .82 four bolt tubine housing and 2.5" 02 housing.
BR 3" turbo back, vband with Magnaflow muffler
Apexi N1 suspension with Robispec setup/alignment (3160 weight of car no driver)
The job of making 500+ whp on pump gas is getting boring I think I need a new goal, I guess I'll start working on 600 whp now.
Actually looking at the dyno graph I should have run the car out to 8500 rpm or so, by then I think it would have hit 570'ish. Eric wants to drive the car and get a feel for the new power. When he gets the feel for it we'll get it back in here and dyno it again. With an intake manifold/throttle body change and some more RPM I am quite sure this car can pass the 600 whp mark on pump gas.
