too much heat for carbon fiber hood vent?

I just recently bought a chargespeed carbon fiber hood vent. I want to put it on asap because it is gorgeous, but I am worried about warping/burning it. I am running a factory turbo manifold, with no heatshield, and also no hood vent heat shield/rain deflector. Will the temperature be great enough to damage my new part? It gets wicked hot there as I am sure you have all noticed. Rexspeed makes a similiar model, and in the item description they state not to use it with a tubular manifold. I am assuming this is due to the temperature? If anyone is running a setup similair, please let me know if I am in the clear. I am assuming I will be because tons of companies including chargespeed make carbon fiber hoods....but then again they have a hole in them where the turbo manifold is....but then again some hoods for other turbo charged cars dont....anyways someone please put my mind at ease, or sell my your turbo manifold heat shield!
