That is correct.. You are paying for experience and labor, not materials.. If they made it from scratch it would be 3k probably like many of their other High Quality manifolds.. However, Jim came up with a great design utilizing the stock core for reliability and stealthness!!

Well last time I went to the state referee, he checked EVERY single thing on my car. Even traced back the vacuum lines for the stock BCS. Mirror under the stock UICP for any nozzles/jets. If there were no badge at all, count me in for that!

I for one would pay top dollar for stealth that comes with power.

The people complaining about the price are the same people that complain about the price of a FPgreen/red. "I can get a GT35R turbo for cheaper"

They are clearly missing the point by a wide margin.

For the people that live in the Republik of Kalifornia or the street racers that like to hustle people, these types of items are worth every penny.

I dont understand why people make such a big fuss over the price.

I think they can't get there head over the fact that the item was once an OEM piece.

Just ignore that fact and look at it for what it is.

-It a IM that fit perfectly to the stock position.
-Fits the factory position UICP
-Fits the stock throttle body.
-Retaines all of your emission control features, EGR, etc making it totally street legal in most places.
-Loses no power in the low/mid range when compared to stock (something which all other sheet metal IM I have seen fail to do.)
-Increases power and torque over stock item mid/high end.
-Fits factory fuel rail/ injectors

All of that for around $1500. Show me another IM that has all of those features and then makes more power. I cant find one. Lets alone find one for that price.

just my 2c.

Has anyone besides BR proven to make power on this? I know it makes power on a 700hp EVo. How about an average EvO?
