What do you guys think of this Intercooler?

Hey Guys, and gals, I found this Intercooler, its a bar and plate type, I mean it looks sweet, sounds like it has the goods, and its a good price? Any Thoughts?

http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=EVO

I did email the company, they said no modifications needed to install, and will hook up to factory I/C piping locations. Is it junk? or is it worth a try?

i think that is the cheapest intercooler i've seen in price wise. Never heard of the company but it is probably fine. But people have always told me you get what you pay for.

Yeah I know what you mean about pay for what you get....but now a days you never really know where stuff is made anyway? This could be another companies High End Intercooler? who knows, haha....If anyone knows of this brand or anything about this type of intercooler let me know...but for the price? Damn, its almost worth a try...................Right? haha. I think I am still leaning towards an ETS Intercooler.

The one thing I can say about egay intercoolers is that they will fit the evo but they'll fit poorly. Save your money and gets yourself a decent intercooler that you'll definitetly know wont have fitment issues.

Ive seen those on ebay before. It looks kind of like an AMS copy http://www.amsperformance.com/store/...roducts_id=172. I would just go with the ETS intercooler and call it a day.

Mate do yourself a favor and get something that has been tested numerous times and everyone knows that it actually works...

Me personally i am upgrading to a Buschur Race core fmic from my TurboXS. No problems with the TXS but i wanted to go even bigger especially now with my big turbo...

I had a CX racing universal fmic on my GST that was making 425whp nothing seems to shabby about there stuff. Thats just my experience tho. As for all the comments about the buschur race core, I run it and love it aswell as everyone else using one. Other than the fact they shorted me a coupler and 2 clamps ha.

it's the ebay copy of AMS intercooler. I got the true Ams 2 years ago and love it. On the other hand had a bud of mine who got the ebay one and it blow the weld where the end tank meet at only 24psi. Yes you get what you pay for.
