Battery getting ready to die?

Hey guys quick question....the last few days my car has become slow to start....like where it used to turn over fast it sort of slowly turns a few times then fires up...my question is....what should the voltage read on the car when the car is turned to ACC. Right now it reads at 12 (maybe a little lower) when it starts its fine but just at starting do i see an issue. Thanks for your help!!

PS. Battery is about 4-5 years old now also so I know it is getting old =)

12.5 seems to be about an avg. Batteries that are crap come in around 10.5-11 from what I have seen. If you are seeing 12 it is most likely still ok but getting weaker. I wouldn't run many items with the car turned off.

would the lower voltage be the reason the car starts slower than normal you think?? if so i'll just change it out today before I get stranded =) lol

well sure a battery isn't putting out as much voltage as it could then yes it could cause it to turn over slower. Also keep in mind older batteries won't handle a load as well as a newer one. If you are turning over slowly I would suggest changing it.
