battery toast or other problem?
So I jumped in the RA Saturday and noticed that when turning over, it was a little slower than normal, but it started up. Sunday rolls around and I get in and she turns over very slowly and wont start, then just clicks... AWESOME, battery is toast I think to my self. Hooked up the cables and boosted it and she fired right up. I took it for a spin and it ran fine, light not dimming at all, voltmeter reading at a hair under 14V the whole time. Came home and parked it for the night.
When I went out this morning, volts reading 11 on the gauge... turn the key and it turns over a few times then back to the clicking.
I'm calling a fried battery, but wanted more input as the little window on the battery itself still says okay. Opinions??

My guess would be battery. Do the auto parts stores in Canada do free electronic testing. Here in the states they will run a full diagnostic for free to determine if it is the battery, alternator, or something else.
I think I will be right behind you on battery replacement. I am still on the factory battery. 8 years old now.

I am 99.9% sure it's not the alternator, as when it is running none of the lights dim, and the volts are right where they should be. If the alternator was toast the car would die out shortly after starting up. The battery is just there to basically get the car started, after its running the alternator takes over.

It's the battery 100%. All the wires are free and clear from being pinched, and the little window on the battery went from being OK, to NOT OK. lol New battery is on route.
Put the new battery in...fired right up. started out at almost 14V. now it's sitting at just over 13V. which could mean my alternator isnt keeping up with the demand. not cool man, not cool.
Or it could mean your old battery wasn't taking a charge so the alt was putting out more voltage to try and charge the battery and now with the new battery it doesn't need to once you rev the engine up voltage will go up... Or something's loose like post connection
