Okay so I drive a 02 lancer and I haven't driven it in about 2 weeks could be a little more I loss count. I was going to register it today and when I went to fire it up nothingg happend.
Last time when my battery died it atleast was clicking and trying to turn over and the head lights were extremely dim. ( I had to go to autozone and get the battery charged jump in it didn't help)
But now it doesn't do anything I turn it over no sound no click. Do I have to take out the battery and recharge it or should I jump it .

Also even though it's been in the garage it's been really cold in nj lately and especially last night it was 0 degrees out . Does that have something todo with it ?

could be a number of things really. but first things first the easy checks
try and jump it if it turns on your probly looking at a bad battery if you havent had problems with this before aside from recharging the battery try jumping it.

could also be a bad starter in which case when i had that i would bang it with a stick to get it to turn on so i could go buy one lol. or the solenoid

 

Thanks . I'm positive it's the battery I had to recharge it a couple weeks ago .

 

Sounds like a dead cell in the battery, replacing it should fix it.
