sparkplugs.com listing

Only listings are for NGK and Bosch as of today.

NGK front sensor is $99, Bosch one is $253 before shipping

So what one did you buy for $90 ?

Is there anyway to determine which o2 sensor has gone bad? I'm getting the P0420 code, and I ordered a new rear o2 sensor, but I'm wondering if it was maybe the front sensor now.

Bank 1, Sensor 1 = Front
Bank 1, Sensor 2 = Rear

+1 on disabling the rear 02 sensor. What a great hack!

My replacement was a rear. I knew it was a rear because mine was literally broken in half. Im sure disabling the sensor is great, but I dont know how to do that. So if you are like me, you can just buy a new one...direct plug in replacement...for $60 bucks. Thats assuming your evo uses this sensor. I dont know that it fits every year and model.

This is good info, I'm posting in here so I can bring up the page with a simple search when I end up needing to order a new one myself.

When I checked the codes, I don't remember it specifying which sensor it was. All I remember is the P0420 code.

Looking for help guys. I have a 9 MR and i removed the rear sensor (on the cat). My inspection is due, and im looking for the best and cheapest way around the check engine light. Could someone chime in and let me know what is the best way around for this? is it the replacement sensor ( and if so which one would work with the evo 9's) or would deleting it with the ecu flash help pass emmisions. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe you are SOL.

1) Most inspections have a visual component. So no cat = fail.

2) Part of the OH inspection is to have a OBDII reader test the system to make sure all the checks are working. The O2 delete in ECU Flash disables the O2 sensor, but it also makes it so the ECU does not check the system. So it will not pass based on that either. I assume NY has the same sort of check.

3) Go to the website the OP mention. There should be a search by model/year.

I could get around the visual insp, the only problem is getting rid of the cel. But basically removing it with the ecu flash wont work for insp! Im gonna just have to try and get a sensor from somewhere. Anyone know where i can get replacement sensor for the evo 9? i checked the other sites that were mentioned but nothing for the 9!

Try AutoZone or the like for the universal 4-wire.

I called sparkplugs.com and they looked up the part # which was not on the site. You may try giving them a call.

I have the same magnaflow too and love it, you can usually get a used one on ebay or cragislist. I wanted a valid warranty so I got it here. Magnaflow 23550. Also some of the forum sponsors magnaflow usually have a sale going on. Either way its a great exhaust system, sounds great, and very easy to install.

anyone know the correct part # for the Walker rear sensor for an '03? The site lists two "OE" sensors but I can't figure out the difference besides the price (one is 2x as much).
