I got the Kartboy underhood and shifter base bushings with authority short shifter. The feel is in my opinion more precise with each shift over stock. The shifter base bushings needed to be sanded back a little to fit properly so be aware if you decide to get the Kartboy's. All in all it's a good upgrade for the money.

Have the Buschur underhood and Blox too... Ridiculous difference in shifting.. recommend to anyone needing that extra feel.. top passenger mount helps with the roll too.. but of course the vibrations shoot up... GL

for grinding issues i would definitly get the front motor mount without question. i just did the ams front mount and my shifts are smooth as silk. not to mention that there is no on off throttle drivetrain lash. i also did the ams underhood bushings and the only thing i noticed was a more direct feel of the gearing. more of a drivibility feeling than performance gain. go with the motor mount!

I noticed the biggest difference with underhood bushings. I noticed more of a difference in clutch feel and drive train lash with the front motor mount than actual shifting. The shifter base bushings just kinda polished everything up.

When I did my base bushings I noticed some play in the ball joint where the shifter mounts to the base. Anyone else notice this? I was thinking of taking it apart and filling it with a heavier grease. Ball joint grease specifically since I have some lying around. Any thoughts on this?

If you can only afford one I'd say underhood bushings, but, why not save up another $29 and order both at the same time? Bring PB&J sandwiches for lunch this week and you'll have the money!
