No shuddering or chattering problems with mine. I keep my car a warm garage so pehaps that make a differece. I have had the thing burn about three times but so far no other issues in a year and a half.

You don't hear chatter, you feel it when taking off slowly when the clutch and engine are cold. It's like a shimmy when taking off, like pulsating. It goes away after it's warmed up. Mine has done this during the colder months since the car was new. It's normal.

To avoid it, just put a few more revs into it when taking off and ride the clutch out of the hole a few times.

Thumbs down chatter

Yes the Chatter is usually the throw out bearing. I am having mine replaced next week. 2900 miles when it snuck out of the clutch housing making that dumb noise.

YES! That is EXACTLY what mine does, I even started another thread about it a while ago with no real answers. Thanks for the info! I don't hear any noise but I definitely get that shudder feeling when she's cold.

OMG. I have this on my car with stock tranny and only 8000 miles. I thought it was just the downpipe bolts, or the downpipe hitting the lower chassis bars. It happens all the time and its so hard you can feel it on the floorboard. Should I have it checked?

yeap! i have the exactly same symptoms. the sound is not loud enough you to get worried but just enough to bother your ear and mind.

sounds like goggling when i let go of the clutch in neutral and this sound is gone when i step on the clutch all the way down!

something serious?
can new transmission oil(BG synchro or redline) solve this chattering/goggling sound???
