clutch started to slip, what should i get

hey, my clutch started to slip, and i just wanted an factory replacement, nothing fancy or anything, what do you guys recommand. also should i just get the DISK or the whole system. thanks.

i would recommend upgrading...it'll be cheaper then buy the stock replacement...and if you plan on modding it will hold up...or if you dont plan on modding you will most likely never have to buy a clutch again.... look into the act heavy duty clutch. pretty good....price friendly. feels like stock from what i've heard

get an entire clucth. If your gunna do the job, do it right the first time...

and might aswell go aftermarket...

so, do i just get the ACT clutch disk (i saw some for sale online) or do i need to spend 500 some dollors to get the set. thanks a lot

You can have your stock flywheel resurface if you want to save a couple of hundred $$ and just get the clutch kit.

clutchmasters stage 3 with fidanza aluminum flywheel. flywheel has removable face plate making it cheaper the next go around. 324whp and 331 tq, had it for a yr with autoX and dd and holds up great. not to pricey either

Any time that you replace your clutch you should have the flywheel resurfaced....


As others have mentioned, the ACT heavy duty clutch is good, but Id step it up one more to the EXtreme duty clutch kit... Something like $600, but well worth it... Youll have alot of modding before you get close to destroying that thing... If your going to do it, do it once the right way
