Question Apexi Auto Turbo Timer??

Hey guys...

Has anyone had any experience with this turbo timer?

I like the fact that it is small but is it one of those that require that you hde a big *** piece somewhere while the small pen sized thing sits outside??

In the same breath...should I get a TT with a boost monitoring feature instead or go with a seperate one?

thanks and cheers!

I installed my apexi TT a while back. Yes, it does have a separate control unit but it is hidden. all you see is the "pen" with a connection wire. None of the fancy functions like HKS but it gets the most important job done.

I would install a true boost gauge for boost monitoring, just the fact you can see the how fast the boost is kicking in by watching the needle climb, cant get that with digital display...

read my install suggestions in the how to, i just ended up routing mine through the dash and have the display tucked away in the little storage compartment to the left of the driver by the fuse box, out of sight, out of mind and gets the job done.
