How much boost on stock internals

I am tuning my car for race gas right now and my car seems to love boost..ALOT. I turned it up to around 29psi with so knock and some pretty advanced timing(here's the thread link to timing map
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=369287)
What can I run safely? I drag my car once every month at most and that's the only time I use race gas. My pump gas 910ct tube I am around 23-24 psi.
TIA,
Cory

It's safe to run as much boost as your motor can handle. IE - no knock, detonation, preignition, etc... Once you get to larger turbo's and such is when you start to worry.

PSI is PSI the turbo size doesnt matter.

I ran 30-34psi daily on my car for over a year before I built it.

I would do 30psi on a damn good tune. Find a good tuner, I did and it paid off.

You are partly correct. It's about efficiency. The stock turbo at 30 psi is much much different than a 3582 at 30 psi. And that's where the brink comes along on the stock internals.

I knew u were going to say that. Either way I was making in the 500's whp for over a year and a half racing every weekend, its all in the tuner period. Daily driven, on a 37r

have friends running 35-37 psi, it all depends oh how you do it, do it smartly with care take care of the car, lots of preventive maintenance be picky when doing things and you have more luck than someone who just runs high boost.

Good tuner CAMS w/ Head Studs 30lbs Race Gas 110 octane 23 pump gas assuming you have a walbro 255 and full bolts wouldn't hurt. Maybe even a 680 injector if you want but thats not necessary

i did cams. but not headstuds.. i was going to do headstuds the right way when i get the head built.. but they say like 85% of the time or something like that, the 1 by 1 method works. but knowing my like i fall into the 15%..

I know people running 30-35psi on a completely stock motor and have been for over a year, over 10,000 miles, no headbolts, never opened the motor.... no problems....

No the 1x1 method works everytime if you do it RIGHT. Why not do headstuds while you do your cams? Its no more effort really. I know someone who tried 30psi on their evo and never had an issue till recently, then they had to do a headgasket and headstuds cause it was lifting the head. IMO its worth $80 or so.

Well Im doing some work on my car right now, whats your guys opinion on what psi to run. Im installing S1 cams, SuperTech springs and valves, headstuds, AMS FMIC, and then im going to have it tuned. Whats a safe boost to run and how high can you rev the stock turbo till it stocks making power. I know lots of you have done different things but this is also my DD and I dont want to blow a rod. I was thinking around 23-25psi, you think thats safe enough??
