Well...the Group N and JWRC rally cars seem to get by fine on the stock turbos however most parts on those cars are somewhat "expendable".

If I were you, seeing as you're building the whole engine etc. (and apparently have a big budget) I'd check out a ball bearing turbo with good spool just to feel safe etc.

No idea how you'll be able to handle 400-500hp+ on gravel though! That's gonna be fun. Unless you're exagerating the gravel thing...

SO yeah, if it's gotta be a t4 bb turbo - S632 like the guy above mentioned, and build the engine - WORKS 2.2 stroker or similar looks nice.

FWIW though, I find by 340hp stock turbo setup is already pretty butt clenchingly hairy when I drive on sand/gravel/sandy roads. I really should get a hydraulic handbrake...

I am really liking the F1-35R Turbo... seems to have better spool and response at a decent price...
