Installed ETS FMIC now some issues.

I installed an ets 4" IC kit with 2.5" piping along with an ets intake pipe.well i have a

couple of issues first is that car idles higher then before when cold(maybe its just

me).second issue is that car wants to stall at low speeds.like for example when

parallel parking. also where do i put the small hose that was on stock intake.hose

goes onto bcs i think.

Need a tune? what other mods? Get a k&n filter or a small filter and attach it to the valve cover..

yea i think i need a tune.no other mods yet.but i have fuel pump, fuel regulator and 720 cc injectors.im waiting to put the fuel system before a tune.putting k n filter on valve cover would make a mess.the line im talking about is the skinny one that goes into stock intake pipe.

Both the higher idle and tendencies to stall can be from the same problem. Sounds like you didn't get something reconnected properly when you did the intake.

like a few people have said, get tuned..aftermarket maf pipes tend to mess with idle a bit and have been known to cause stalling.

The problems are from the intake pipe. Needs a tune.

I've been having the same issue however I am tuned. I am running the ETS 3" intercooler with lower and upper intercooler pipping, ETS Mass Air Intake System, Buschur Racing Inline Manual Boost Controller, and Stock BOV.

When Im cruising in 5th gear and my boost is at 0-5ish I get a fluttering and sometimes it feels like the car is being pushed backwards a little bit. I'm trying to figure out what is causing it but Im not to sure. Any ideas?

wat you are getting is compressor surge. What blow off valve are you running? you might want to loosen the spring up a little.

As for the OP I understand people have said they have been having problems but I had no tune with tht stuff for a week untill my appointment, granted I don't drive my car all that much. So I would look at your connections first then simply get tuned!
