the car is a fwd eclipse, some one just bolted/welded a diff case in the back to make it look like a awd. if you look close you dont see any axles or anything, theres just a diff cover sitting there...

Well its not the same but my friend took his TSI AWD and made it Rear wheel drive :-) He wanted to drift it. I know lots of people cant wait for the next AWD eclipse to come out, MINI Evo 2 door Fun pic

looks bad *** i caught it as soon as i looked way to go man good thinking. are you doing a evo swap. you know what else did you know the evo ecu is plug and play with a 3rd gen eclipse i ran into some dude with a turbo 4cly eclipse i asked what EM are you using he said nothing, i am using a evo8 stock ecu he said it was plug and play i was like omg that is awesome. keep us updated.

That is correct. The Evo 8 Ecu is plug and play for the 2001-2005 Eclipse rs/gs. It's also funny how stout the 4g64 in those cars is. It's already been found out numerous times that you can max out the flow of the head/stock camshaft before breaking anything internally on a proper tune. The max out point is around 300-320fwhp. At that point you either contact RPW in Australia for a "turbo camshaft" or do the Evo 8 head swap.
