Mellon is 110% the way to go and i HIGHLY suggest anyone to go through him I went to Mellon hoping for about 450 after being told by numerous tuners that 420 on 93 was about max, especially with no meth, race gas and having stock maf and ecu. Were at 504 right now and the car feels amazing. Tuning in my eyes is the most important part as far as making good power goes and Mellon is the guy for the job!
can you explain what parts you will need to achieve this or is your motor stock with just bolt on parts. lets us know please as i am very interested in this, thanks

Thanks for the input but I already have a great tuner lined up but he is also a very busy person so I try to do my research online before asking for his opinion. He already has gotten 500 on a stock motor and MAF already. I mean I pretty much already know what I need to do to get the 500hp mark. Right now other then the turbo kit, FMIC, and 1000cc injectors the biggest upgrade to my current setup will be the swapping of cams. I'm planning on taking my HKS 272's out and putting in GSC S2's or BF 272's(but I need to get some hard data on those cams which are not available from BR). Everyone has pretty much already answered my question which was "is it possible" The answer was yes and that was all I needed to know. Now I just have to buy the parts.

Oh yeah and before I forget my fiance said no pics of her are to go on this site. Sorry but her hot *** is for my eyes only

a single walbro + 1000cc PTE had me at 107% IDC...if you're going to stick with a single pump I'd do 1200cc to get that down a little bit more but truly if you're looking for much more than 500awhp it's time for twin pumps.

Mellon how much power was the car putting down when you were at 107%?

My goals are based off Freddy302's number when was running just the HTA 35R. I want to get a nice number like 420-460@21-23psi on 93oct and then with my Aquamist kit turn it up to 25psi-28psi and hope to hit 500. I trust Junior as a Tuner. He did a tune on a buddies STI and got him 440 on a HTA35R with a .63 hotside with 20psi. So since my car is better then a STi I know Jr. can get me results that are safe and that I will be happy with.

How common is it for the honeycomb to get sucked in? Maybe I've been under a rock but I don't remember reading an account of that?

The reason i mensioned it was because of other members worried about it I mean I'm at 355whp I'm not too worried about my honeycomb getting sucked do the intake right now I just thought it was a valid question

DLL said 535 in the winter when it was 30* outside and 499 in 100* weather...sadly there's not a dyno closer that 6 hours away. The car trapped 100mph in the 1/8 on 93 octane for what it's worth (stock weight)

2 - USA 93 octane 26psi RNR header, Precision 35R, HKS 280's - 504awhp 398tq

Both are EVO 8's, the Kuwait EVO is probably just about maxed out but we're going to see if it's okay with a little more timing. The USA EVO seems like it has more in it but the injectors have seen as high as 104% IDC...I've since leaned it out a bit and we're down to 95% currently. I haven't even touched the boost or timing since my base map was installed. Just fuel tweaks so far. It's an autometer gauge and I suspect it's running more than 26psi since we're seeing 330kpa+ peak loads.

my own car did as much as 535awhp when it was cold outside but more recently did 500awhp and 420tq in the 95-100* heat.

getting ~ 500awhp on 93 octane with a 35R isn't hard IF you have the right supporting mods. I've had a few that couldn't pull it off and in both cases they had very quiet resonated exhaust and cats or high flow cats.
Hello Mellon, Just wanted to tell you that u got a great tuning skills and i wanted to correct little things about the Octane in Kuwait, the Max Octane rating in Kuwait is 98 RON which equals to USA 93 AKI, and the lower grade one is the 95-96 RON which is equal to USA 91 AKI, and if i were the Kuwaiti EVO Guy i won`t run less than 98 RON as a added safety with this High Boost+Crazy Oven Like Summer Heat :1
