How much power are you expecting? Are you still on the stock block?

my friend is bringing home a torque wrench tomorrow so we can put my ARP headstuds in. other than that and the cams my motor is stock. i was hoping to see a little over 400 but who knows what i will end up getting, it rather have a low goal and exceed it than set a high goal and get let down. i have rod bolts and main studs too but those wont be in for a little bit.

Nice, am looking forward to your results. By the way, I plan on an FP Red with 880's on the stock ECU as well. What's the problem with that setup?

apparently buschur hasnt had good luck with anything above 680s on the stock ecu, but some others apparently have been able to run as high as 1200s. David even told me when we were at the drag strip that big al is amazing at tuning the stock ECU, but he is too far away for me. So im going to get the most i can safely get out of the 680s until i can get the AEM EMS with a wideband, and then retune it, hopefully with e85

I see... But Kreionic tuned an FP Red on 880's with ECUFlash that made decent power on pump. When the time comes I will take the chance. Good luck to you, I envy your setup!

I've been running 1000cc injectors on the stock ECU for well over 2 years now with no problems all self tuned. I know buschur is close to you and does awesome work but there are TONS of tuners out there who can set you up with what you need.

Talk to John of Jestrtuning.com or Mellon... BOTH those guys can email you tunes for 1000-1200cc injectors because they are SO DAMN COMMON now on the OE ECU. You won't know the difference between those and stock injectors when they are done. Try it before you waste the money on an AEM or other aftermarket management system. Check out the ECUFlash forums for the skinny...

I have no problem at all tuning 1000cc injectors on the stock ecu, that's what's in my daily driver... PTE 1000cc work like a champ and I get ~ 22mpg and probably better if I didn't boil the tires off of it haha.

see sig for details
