I was thinking the 3" core with standard endtanks, my goal is FPred, meth, built head, and all the boltons, 450-500 on pump, so that IC should be right for me, what do you think ?

Damm that looks nice

Oh about the parts , ditch the profec B(get a hallman Manual Boost Controller or the Perrin boost solenoid)

Ditch the Injen Inake and pipes(I would just rock the samco silicone hoses w/ t-clamps) Get a drop in filter.

Get a tune, If you are planning on running stock boost (Why get the boost controller???) Dont bother with the fuel pump.

I don't know if you read the whole thread but I already have the profec from my last car and I actually said I woulda gotten the hallman if I didnt have the profec..., and as far as the injen kit goes I get too good of prices not to... And I'm planning on hitting 500awhp eventually and I want to hit 360ish with these mods so at that boost it would be silly not to spring the extra $110 to get more fuel and have more room to tune later... I was wonderin if the car would run unsafely at stock boost with those mods UNTUNED, so now I am set on getting tuned with the mods. I do appreciate the insight tho, thank you

scarface2jz-----> Thnx for considering us EPM on your next round of Mod purchases. I'll chime in on some of your questions. First off about your stock clutch. I have a X-MR and my clutch lasted 45,000 miles with lots of launches at the drag strip and I am at 350WHP, so I wouldn't worry too much about toasting your clutch. Just dont burn it, which will glaze it up and shorten it's life span. As for your Mod list looks like you have all good supporting mods, but I would try to persuade you to opt out of the Injen hard pipes. They are some of the worst fitting pipes around. ETS, AMS, BR, Nisei, Fighter's Garage, et;al makes some great UICP, LICP around, and for instance ETS has some great pricing.
And as for ECU Tuning, why dont you get a wide band and tactrix cable and email off your data to Mellon, Project Tuning, etc...for a custom tune? They can both give you a great high HP tune that will also be safe and reliable.
Just my .02's and if if there is anything that we EPM can do for you just let us know.....

How about turboxs ? I heard their pipes fit well and I could get a TiAL flange welded on, plus an HKS intake... Ive heard great thing about both of those, a friend of mine at top level highly recomended the TiAL VTA BOV, ive heard maf misreadings are less common with them and efficient with high boost... also I think I'm going to go with mojo motorsports for a street tune, I plan on picking up a wideband and installing at the same time as the rest of the parts... A WB 02 sensor is a boosted motors best friend

TurboXS is hands down way better than Injen. You'll be glad you went in that different direction as far as Hard Pipes. The 06 MR blowoff/recirulating valve is a proven performer. Many Evo owners opt to upgrade to that part. Unless you are runnning extremes in Boost 35lbs + then for now save your $$ and stick with the 06 BOFV...if you are wanting that swish sound then any intake will give you that sound. In-fact lots of VTA guys get tired of the constant swishing....but's that a personal call, really..
You decision to go ahead and get a WB O2 is a great solution for tuning purposes. Looks like you have all your bases covered..way to go...
Let us know if there is anything else we might can be of assistance with...

Good luck on your modding, I live in Suffolk and it was only a 1 1/2 hour drive to Sean Ivey and it was well worth going to see him

VTA BOVs are fun for the 1st month... I learned quickly on my SRT-4, HKS SSQV and GReddy type-S... Sooo loud... LOL, I was planning on stock recirc till I got an FPred, but if I had an option for the flange now, why not... I'll keep doin my research and shopping, hopefully I'll be sitting at 350+ by November...

Oh yea, megan tubualr exhaust mani, yey or ney ?

Thanks again for the help everyone, I appreciate it

1) I agree on ditching the Injen crap -- there is a reason that their whole piping/intake kit is so cheap... ***Remember this, just because a part is "aftermarket" doesn't mean it's an upgrade.

2) Evo IX's with those mods are closer to 350whp - cams will put you in the 360whp area (with even more gains in the midrange than peak)

3) Stock clutch is fine for 350whp, as long as you don't do much launching on it. My stocker didn't start slipping until I added meth, which put me around 420whp...

4) FP Red will not get you near 500whp on only pump gas in most cases. I think Dynoflash Al just made like 430whp with the Red on pump. He made 509whp on pump/meth? at like 28psi... still, 500+whp on a bolt-on cammed VIII using a stock-appearing bolt-on turbo ain't too shabby

after I get the clutch I'll get the meth, my plans are an fpred with meth and a built head, so I think 500whp is easily attainable

I've read reviews that the HKS intake doesn't give you as much power as a simple K&N cone filter.
