What octane would you run at 26psi?
Charlie knows I'd believe the timing
We can tune for 26psi pretty easy, alot of it really comes down to how smart the driver is and how they load the car up in a pull. The car will always spike higher in a lug so you have to be ready for it but its not impossible. I ran 30 on 92 with my Green for a few months before I had even got steady access to ethanol.
For a stock turbo car at the drag strip, independent of race tune or street tune, pull the wastegate line and go...if you are on C16 or Q16. Q seems to be a little more finicky since its oxygenated but that has been the trick with C16 and small turbos since forever on DSMs and Evos.
I used to do that with my Green and C16 when I drag raced every week (taken a little more leisurely approach as of late), 33-34psi spike and taper to 27 by redline with a Green.

One small point about the q16, i would make sure your tank is very empty before putting it in. In the past i have seen it not mix as well as c16.
yeah theres no point in turning up the boost and running racegas if the cars not tuned for it. it wont do anything extra and E-85 is a pain and you wont have near enough fuel system for it anyway
Sure if you like to waste race gas, and go slower......Race gas burns considerably slower than pump gas does. If you dont have the timing and boost there to compensate for it, your going slower.
