For a daily, Hta35r wins, for a weekend warrior or track the 62mm wins. It all depends on what you want.

If I ever change up it will be to the new FP turbo thats about to come out if not the FS635

for me i could care less what happens at 3200 to 6200 rpm because i would rather give up spool which means brake boost or downshift, then give 40hp on top which you can get back if you never had it.. That is my turbo theory..

I agree for a race car, or weekend warrior. Just for me the power under the curve is awesome because being daily driven that is where I spend most of my time. If all I did was race the car on the weekends or at the track I would feel the same.

I would not even be considering a 37R if I were looking for what it sounds like you are. Have you ever ridden in a 37R car? The only one I have ever been in was a 2.3, and it was still pretty laggy compared to a 35R IMO. Plus it had a lower redline. If you do go that big, I'd go twin scroll, or maybe a 2.3. I'd even go Twin scroll for a 35R. But I simply do not see any advantage whatsoever in the 37R over the 35R for you.

What about the Precision mut turbo? 6282 I believe? Will probably get you the same spool as the HTA35r with almost the same power potential of the 6262.

Good luck on your turbo quest!

Based on my aforementioned 37R experience, I don't think you could get me to run a 37R on my car if you gave it to me for free. Almost useless for anything except all-out drag IMO.
The drag, highway, and numbers people are going to disagree with me here and say "lag is overrated" etc, but...

35R is a bit laggy for anything except in a straight line, at least on a 2.0
HTA35R alleviates this a bit without compromising top end.
Twin scroll 35R is great and probably the only configuration I would ever run a 35R.
2.3 helps with the lag by 4-500rpm and gives you more low end tq., but you lose usable upper RPM with it. 2.3+ HTA is not a bad idea if you want more lower end tq and faster spool than top end out of a 35R.

What is making the impressive drag times and what is fun on the street can bevery different.
Read up, and ride up before you make a decision.

In my opinion from the various dyno charts posted on this forum the 37r is pretty much obsolete performance wise. There are so many better options available now you would be mad to run a straight 37r.
