Test pipe gains??

So I just installed my test pipe and its not really a big difference besides the smell. I've got megan downpipe, and Greddy Ti-C, so is it really worth it? I will have to put the cat back on for emissions testing and if I get pulled over I'm guessing the cop will be able to tell that I don't have a cat, so is it really worth it? I'm sure once you start added other aftermarket items a cat will help. Also, what is the fine for not having a cat in AZ?

until he/she looks under the car. Cats are shaped differently from test pipes.

Yes its very much worth it and worth the hassle of swapping it in and out for inspections. I have to do the same thing.

I'm in AZ, so no one in AZ has gotten a ticket for it?

Have you had your car retuned since going catless?

Not yet, Chris from Mellon tuning will be doing my tune, I've just got to get all my mods on before the tune so I don't have to pay for the tune more than once. All I have left to get its intake and intercooler piping, I would imagine I will see better gains after a tune.

If your caught by the EPA its a $2500 fine. I have only heard a few people in CA getting tickets in crack down, though I don't really follow it. In someways I am surprised the cops take this route with the street racers.

People are going to tell you the spark plug anti-fouler fix, the double spark plug anti-fouler fix, the CEL-delete spacer fix (basically the same thing for more $ since it's marketed that way), the electronic CEL elminator, etc. but I have not been able to get any of these to work for me. P0420 forever, no matter what, with a test pipe for me.
I think you can disable the rear 02 sensor with a certain ROM in ECU flash. Maybe my O2 sensor really is bad. Either way, I'm getting a high flow cat soon. I wont mind it getting quieter as well. There are cars running cat a LOt faster than mine.
