Awesome results The Red is a real beast with c16. The curve looks so smooth all the way to redline. I can't wait to get mine tuned on c16. I maxed my 780's prolly go with 1000cc. The RED is the real deal.

This car is a freak i have alway said it this car sounds different like a high comp engine, but its bone stock bottom end,,, its a freak.

Mannie i told you would be a walk in the park making 500+ good job and be safe out there
Thank you, Andy. You were right about the numbers. I was on the edge until the Dyno day.

How does it feel on pump gas and or around 25psi?
It feels very strong at 25 psi. Very strong.
I would say very similar to my old Green on higher boost on race fuel.
The Red has big mid~top end feel. The Green was very fast spool in the bottom end.

Thank you, Ozie.
I can’t go much more on the stock bottom end, so I am staying cool for now.

I plan to change the upper pipe to a larger diameter, and add a Turbo Smart BOV.
I also want a 65mm TB.
Those are the next and last 2 things I am doing on this set-up.

Nice results, I gotta ask, why do you have a safc in your mod list?

Believe it or not, it is a working SAFC-II.
Seems to be doing a good job, .

I use it to adjust my pump gas map.

Once Jestr is done with the ECU race gas tune/flash, I can go back to Data File 1 on the AFC, and adjust fuel to bring down the Hi A/F's.
If it was not for it, the car would run lean once it came off the race gas.

He is got a way to lock timing, so the AFC adjustments don't effect the programed ECU settings. The result, I can go around boosting 25 psi on save A/F's on pump. Works great for old Technology.

And it looks cool in the car too.

Thanks Jimi.

I figured it was better to leave you and Dave alone after I installed and re-tuned the Evo on the Red. The hp increase should have given you guys a pretty good idea.

Have a nice trip back to the Middle East, and be save .

We have a couple full weight Evos here doing 430-450 ish on a mustang trapping 122-123...

Either way curves look really good and 100whp gains over your green is the win.
Took the words right out of my mouth. With those dyno numbers I would have expected the car to trap high 120's low 130's.

Did the car have driver mod for the 124 trap, aka RACE MAN?

My friend, this was the very first pass on this set-up.
And the pass was not a perfect run.

This car, has gone 11.8@116 mph plus on the stock 9.8 Evo VIII Turbo with 369 whp on the same Dyno.

And it has gone 11.4@121 on the Green with 420 whp on the same Dyno.

Don't judge just on the mph. That number can go up or down due to many things.

The power is there, now we got to use it correctly, and we will.

Im not trying to be derogitory towards your setup, I have a red on the way as well that should be here any week now. I'm just a bit perplexed on how 520awhp on cft's mustang dyno can equate to anything near 124mph. My basis for comparison is my stock turbo/stock cam setup dyno
'd at 389awhp on Big Valleys dynojet and I trapped 120mph hence my curiosity of the dyno numbers, trap speed corilation.

The car has 67,xxx thousand miles.

I am confused here....maybe the aem is making the difference on my car. At 3000ft elevation I went 11.3@123 with the green on e85 spiking 26psi and falling to 23psi.

Same thing with my car on the Green.

My car went on the Green 11.4@121 on the stock ECU and 110 Sunoco, also spiking 27.2 psi and falling to 23 psi as well .

So what were you confused about, Toni?

I got PMs from you when I first had the Green tested. You were amazed at my results with the Green. That in turn, helped you in the decision to get yours.

Here is some back ground on the Dyno numbers on my car.

* On the Green, it made Max Power 417.1 @ 6500 rpms and Max Tq. 418.7 @ 5000 rpms at CFT Mustang Dyno in 1/27/2008. This was the 1st. test done on the Green.

Then Dyno again on a Dynojet, Fynetune Performance on February, 2008:

Numbers were, Max Power 441.68 and Max Tq. was 428.90.

Confirming the numbers on both Dynos.

More Dyno testing:

* On the Green, it made Max Power 419.3 @ 6050 rpms and Max Tq. 409.9 @ 4800 at the CFT Mustang Dyno in 5/17/2008.

Then it was tested on a Dynojet at Fynetune Performance again at the end of May, 2008.

Max Power was 451.04 @ 5800 rpms and Max Tq. was 437.60 @ 4600 rpms.

The Mustang Dyno numbers at CFT do match with the Dynojet numbers at Fynetune once again.

Again more testing:

On

On 6/28/2008 The car was Dyno at TTP Engineniring new Mustang Dyno.

On the Green, Max power was 428 whp and Max Tq. was 454 Ft. Lbs.

There was 1 more Dyno run made at CFT last month, September 2008. We were testing the New Wynns Fuel Products on my car.
I don't have the numbers, since I gived that sheet to Andy. This was the last time the Green was Dyno tested. Still in the low 400's.

All of this Dyno runs were done on the Green at 30~32 psi on C16. Holding 22~23.5 max psi at redline.

The numbers of the Red were made at 36.6 psi on C16, falling to 30.4 psi at redline. Max Power 524.1, and Max Tq. 487.1 .

To conclude on the HP explanation, I bolted the FP Red in the car, pumped the boost-up, added the Invidia huge 02 Housing, and the rest, you allready know.

My car has proven to put all the power that it makes on the Dyno to the ground, time and time again. And at the Track, with over 200 passes, stock Tranny, and everything else.

For those of you that don't know me, I am sorry you have to second guess the performance.
Those of you who do know my car, won't question what it is doing.

FP Red FTW!

Unfortunately those comparisons your giving can not be completely 100% accurate or taken as such. To go to two or three different dyno's in the same day could be concieved as pretty accurate but weeks apart throw the data nearly out the window. The difference in temperature and humidity can adversly affect dyno results. Your comparisons are definitely better then nothing but without the full information as I have stated it leaves as much as a 15-20whp room for error.
