Not Holding boost

Ok I just bought a new Hallman Pro RX. I can't hold more than 17psi on pump. I can't get more than 26 psi with my MBC close with the heavy spring in... Where could I have a leak and how can I check for sure?
Thanks,
Cory

I am not sure that I follow you. Are you only able to get to 17 PSI peak, or 26 PSI peak? Or do you peak at 26# and then it´ll taper to 17#?

Sorry I am tuned for 23 psi on pump an i taper to around 16-17 psi... I was trying to do a race gas map 27ish psi and I cant get above 25-26ish... I'm trying to find out why I'm tapering so much and get get to the 27psi I want.

Try this: Run a length of vacuum hose from the compressor housing discharge nipple directly to the wastegate actuator nipple. Shorten the adjustable wastegate actuator rod two complete rotations. See if this improves things. Maybe you'll need to crank it down another turn.

I'm running the the perrin mbc and its tapering to 17 psi at redline as well. I have mine set to 20 psi peak because I'm still running on stock tune. But when I was adjusting it earlier from 23 psi peak when I installed the mbc it still was holding 17 at redline (7k).

I have replaced all my clamps with T-bolt clamps a long time ago, so either I have a leak someplace or maybe the wga arm needs to be tightened.

If it won't go above 26psi closed then I would look at the BOV. Either crush it or get a aftermarket.

What RPM are you seeing peak boost?

if you are at 5000ft then I would be happy with holding 17 psi on the stock turbo.
