EVO Heater Core Removal - Help

What did you guys do with the 2 heater spots on the back of the block? Just put a hose going to the 2 or weld them shut?

Most people just loop a bit of hose so that you can revert back to heater core if needed. I would never permanently remove one unless it's going to be a racecar in a warm climate.
