EPM 02 Dump hitting Radiator??

I installed my EPM 02 dump on my FP red turbo & buschur turbo-back exhaust today.... and it is touching the radiator. Does anyone else have this problem? I cant turn the car on or it will get damaged... Did I do something wrong? Anyone else have this problem?

I have a Megan exhaust manifold on the car as placeholder to send my stock manifold out for port/polish. Could this be the culprit? It appears to connect to the turbo at the exact same spot the stock manifold did...

Thanks for your help.

I had this problem as well with my install with the red....it was also touching the licp as well....

CBRD has to put "dents" on the dump tube to fix the problem

I had this exact same problem with my QTP dump when i installed it with my FP RED. It was touching the radiator. I had to have mine modified to fit without it touching the radiator. Now i have no issues. Good Luck!

Gonna try! But that IC piping is also in the way..... using the stock Evo 9 IC pipe provided with the FP red along with my RMR.

I noticed that my Megan manifold does sit out a little farther than the stock mani. However, I've got a EMP v2 and it clears fine. The V1 might be different. Can you borrow a stock mani to try?

My Megan pushed the turbo toward the rad by about 1/2" on the hotside ... a little less on the cold side. They must use some really lax jigs for those things ...

I just threw the stock manifold on and its not as bad as with the Megan.

STILL it rubs against the radiator and I'm just not so sure the IC piping will. We'll see once she gets hammered.

To those who had to modify the dump tube to fit... what did you modify? I am going to try to dent the 02 in so it doesnt touch the radiator, however the Evo 9 pipe provided from FP with the FP red still is near impossible to fit.

Did any of you have to cut & re-weld? If so, where and how much and what angle if any did you change?

Thanks

^^^^Mine had to be cut and re-welded. The shop that installed it did all the work so i dont really know how much or what angle.
