what Turbo Timer to get?

What would you recommend given than I don't really need a boost guage and I want a easily hidden application.

I also don't want to wait for a friggin harness that's in backorder.....so help me out?!

edit: I also want the most 'secure' TT....one with the most features to protect against drive-a-ways. After all someone can still drive away with the e-brake up right ?

the harness is just for convenience... most TT's only require splicing 4-5 wires which can be done with T-taps... the choice is also a preference... all TT do the same thing time the shut off of your car... I went with the HKS type 1 cause it has a digital speedo, along with some other cool features.

The visible part of the Apexi is like 1/2" by 3". Very inconspicous. Thats why I went with it. TT's arn't the coolest things to have taking up a large part of your dash.

I really like the features and look of the Blitz DTT and FATT DCII's. I personally bought the FATT because I don't need the extra features that the DTT provides, but either is a good choice imo.

i would go with either the Blitz or the Apexi. both have the LCD reading that's seperated from the main module so placement of the TT is easier. The others are kinda bulky and finding a place to put one is kinda hard.

And as for the harness but this can just be me but i recommend getting one. it'll cut your install by a whole lot plus splicing wires, especially the ignition wires is kinda risky, you have to know what the hell you're doing. And when you need to take your car back to the dealer or maybe even sell it, taking it out is easier.

i think some vendors are starting to get the harness back now. i just bought one the other day and plan on installing mine soon.

I have the HKS Type 0 and I am using the Greddy harness which is not on backorder. I got my harness from Gruppe S last week and installed it without a problem. I think I saw a post early with some deal they are having on TT's w/ harness.

It is on backorder from several distributors that I'm aware of. Gruppe-S does have them in stock. I ordered my FATT from them last week.

okay guys I did some research and found the greddy manual. I realize that the Greddy needs a speed signal wire for the speedometer to work....does the EVO have this?

You need the MT-6 harness or the GReddy harness. I have a full stock of both harnesses and timers. PM me if you are interested.

Yes, it's either pin 89 or 86 on the ECU. I can't remember exactly.
