There is a guy here in SoCal who says that just an FPR and bigger fuel rail allows him to run E85 on the 35R with a single Walbro. Doesn't even have an in-line pump IIRC. His injectors are Denso 1000cc's.

I mentioned in the SoCal thread that his experiences seem to be different than everyone else's I've read about. He runs an AEM.

I wonder what his d/c's are for both pump and inj's?

First time i've heard of this but then again i'm still a noob to this E85 stuff.

Does he say how much power he makes as his seems like a very rare case compared to other 35R cars on E85.......as few of them as there are.

I plan on going e85 on a red......i dont want to worry about being on the edge wth a 1200cc injector...

I have read that some people have good idle / drivability & others that dont with 1600 cc injectors.....I just dont know the injectors used @ the time or the ability of the tuner...which can lead to horrible idle & drivability charactersitcs....

I have a aem ecu on my evo8.

Thanks in advance

Precision 1600cc's

Haltech E8

E-85

Drives better than my car did on AEM, gas and 1000's.. I have 0 complaints.. Idles at 1100 rpm, smooth thru the powerband and part throttle.. Starts up better than my car did on AEM and 1000's too..

It is possible. Just depends on how much power you want. When I had me EVO IX I had a tune with a single Walboro, Precision 1000 cc's, 35R, stock fuel rail and stock fpr. I put down 450 whp on Buschur's dyno, but ran out of fuel with the single Walboro. Boost was at 27 psi. All on E85 and AEM.

Yep depends on the Hp level.. we have done 490hp on our dynojet on a single walbro and E-85.. I wouldnt recommend but we did do it..
