I'm looking for a replacement of my open diff. Price for Quaife and Wavetrac is the same. What should I get?
PS Clutch plate diffs are SO much more expensive

I'm getting my t-case from shep in a couple weeks. It'll have a Wavetrac in it
Wavetrac provides tension even at zero load. And made in the US.
Quaife has been around for a long time and has a better rep.
Either one will be better than the stock diff and probably won't notice much difference between the two 90% of the time it's in a daily driver.
Good luck

Besides the Wavetrac being hands down the best mod I've done to any car that I've owned, I've been driving my evo for the past 2 days in the rain and it behaves much better than the oem diff naturally. It takes little effort to pitch the car to oversteer in the wet to the point where your scaring the public. I can't comment on the stock diffs wet performance exactly as its been too long to remember, but from remembering the night and day difference when i installed the Wavetrac I'm gonna say the Wavetrac is an immense improvement in the wet.

My car had the JDM transfer with Torsen LSD and ACD....if I take that as a 0 (zero) baseline, dry performance has increased by +20 with the Wavetrac. LOVE IT! However, wet performance feels like it's gone to -15 with the Wavetrac. Off throttle grip is good in the wet...however when you apply throttle to accelerate, the front just slides.
