Short and simple question;

What are the differences between those 2 front differentials for an Evo?
The wavetrac is like $200 more expensive.
Both are ATB based AFAIK

No idea...lol. I have the wavetrac in mine because that's what TRE sells and he made me a good deal on it. It definitely works better than the stock LSD..

 

You'll be happy with either. I'm running the quaife and I haven't had any issues with it.

 

Best thing I've done to my Evo is a Wavetrac. Don't gotta worry about destroying a tcase and you get a sweet LSD with it.

 

Wavetrac has an incredible lifetime warranty, that they are not shy about honoring. That said, they told me I'm the only person to contact them about breaking one, so if they never break is easy to be good with warranty.

Additionally, due to the way they work, my memory says the quaife will freewheel if one tire leaves the ground but the Wavetrac will still put power down. That likely doesn't matter to most people.
