Means your balance shafts are not in sync I had the same problem the first time i did the belt.

If you didn't do the smaller belt balancer belt then likely its the outer balancer belt/ oil pump pulley. The evomoto instructions on changing the timing belt include the methods for getting the pulley in sync.

Obviously not if its vibrating like that. From my understanding the balancer is geared so even if the timing marks line up it doesn't mean its in sync. There is a spot where you stick in a screw driver to check the balancer timing.

The spot is behind the o2 outlet and a little to the passenger side. There should be a flat spot with a 14mm bolt in it. Undo the bolt and slide the screw driver in. If the screw driver can go in and its on the timing mark your golden.

BTW when i screwed up my install the vibration started around 3500rpm and would practically rattle the whole car.

How would the timing of the balance shaft be messed up when installing cams?

Not trying to say anything just wondering for myself.

Both timing belts are connected to the balancers so if they are out of sync or off then they would cause the above.
