Met Mr. Wheel hop yesterday...
first-off:
car is an 8 MR with gtworks springs, mbc(23psi), intake, BOV, exhaust, Bridgestone potenza 235-45-17's. and my car is tuned by 4ws, AND IT ROCKS SOCKS!
well i just so happened to come across and ARC induction box. and it "accidentally" jumped under my hood when i wasnt looking and kicked the stock box/k&n drop-in out.
anyway, i'm getting a mild quick retune soon here from my buddy Tamer.
but before i do, i need to have some advise on getting rid of mr.wheel hop that i ran into yesterday.
basically, i have been launching in 85-90 degree weather before with some burnout followed by immediate grip with a 5800 2-step and a clutch side-step and 35psi tires. Pretty much perfect launches.
But i tried yesterday with the new intake and about 50 degree weather and HOLY WHEEL HOP!
it was all in the rear, and it was banging pretty hard, so i let off. went to try it again in a diff spot, and it sounds like a shuddering, vibration, pulsing GRRR-R-R-R-R.. sound.
tamer and i think its because of the colder weather and the tires arnt griping like they were before and i've also picked up some more power do to the new intake and much colder air.
any input is appreciated.

well, today, with the sun shining and weather back above sub-zero. i was back to launching like a SOB.
Tamer called it! it WAS the damn cold *** ground and cold tires.
that guy never ceases to amaze me!
hope this will answer someone elses question in the future.
