The TRE EGT probe is great, it reacts incredibly fast compared to most. I have one in my Evo with a Defi gauge.

Where does your existing wiring run to? My probe came with 18" of wire which was perfect since I have it connecting to the wire that runs to the gauge near the passenger shock tower. The probe comes standard with 18" of wire and both male and female connectors so its incredily easy to hook up with your current wiring; just cut, add the plug, and you're done. Shouldn't take more than 15 minutes even if you've never done it before.

Wow; I thought this crap with TRE was done with years ago. Back in 2002 I had similar dealings with Jon where it was constant lies, multiple fake tracking numbers, etc. when I ordered a turbo and exhaust manifold from him (he's since quit the turbo business to focus on transmissions). Basically he sat on my money for 3-4 months before sending me anything even though he told me everything was in-stock when I ordered it. When I ordered my probe last last winter it arrived only a few day later. Sorry for the bad recommendation. The only reason I ordered the probe through him last winter is because I knew it was a good probe at a great price. I almost considered using him if/when I needed a transmission rebuilt until now. Do what I did and threaten to get the credit card company involved/file a complaint against him with your credit card.

Try GT Spec 631-586-3500, Deer Park, LI. That's where I got my egt probe replacement for my Defi and they had it in stock

I've never had anything but good service from TRE and would recommend them highly.
