Which LICP to get?

I know there are a bunch of companies out there making LICP's (Injen, AMS etc.) but from your experiences which ones are good? (power gain/proper fitment)
mods are in my sig. I'm running stock intercooler, stock turbo.

I don't plan on upgrading my LICP and UICP until I upgrade my intercooler - it's not worth the money to me...

I'm looking at buying the HKS R-Type bar and plate intercooler, which includes the LICP (http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...&cat=17&page=1).
For the UICP, the HKS SSQV BOV kit includes it (http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...?productid=359).

Cheers

Are you kidding me. Do you realize our cars make more power with just a LICP? And is the HKS IC bling? Cause it's no better then AMS, BR, ETS, TXS, or Perrin. You guys kill me with the bling purchases

Stick to AMS, ETS, Buschur. Look in the used threads even. I sold my AMS licp for 75 bucks. Not a thing wrong with it. HKS is a huge waste of $$$. For that 1300 you could have any of the 3 names I just mentioned along with the bling upper and still save some dough.

Yes, your right I do realize they make more power. I just didn't want to replace it until I replaced the whole thing. No, I wasn't buying it for bling, I was buying because I like HKS, they make quality parts. Its between an HKS intercooler and an AMS intercooler.

We'll see what I decide on....

Not the full UICP.
Is it just the part where the SSQV bolts to?

so far i'm leaning towards the ETS...any thoughts on the LICP from Injen, i'm getting one at a pretty good price, but how is it in comparison to the others you mentioned.

Not for nothing and pls don't take offense to this but your crazy. 1300 for HKS parts you can buy like you said AMS IC. But I would actually purchase a ETS IC and pipes for less then a grand and they make quality parts too. There is actually no need to buy anything from HKS anymore. But it's your money waste it if you want. As for the half UICP with BOV. Your car is going to stall because only the 05 and up can run VTA. 03-04 will stall and that crappy HKS idle fix has caused more problems for people then anything else. Just a suggestion and pretty much every vendor and tuner will say the same thing. If your still running the MAF and stock ECU get the ETS IC and IC piping kit and then get a APS Twin vent BOV.

the injen pipe isn't designed nearly as good as the ETS LP2 check out the link and read about the ETS LP2...if your undecided that thread will make up your mind for you! has to be the best lower IC pipe out there!!!!

If I did end up going SSQV - I was also going to run the recirculation kit...

a recirculation kit would be the thing to go with on that bov but i've head of probelms with that bov like really bad flutter and it can't hold boost that well....i would suggest the APS twin vent or Forge bov
